Silver Springs invites referrals from those wishing to receive services or from their representatives. We encourage prospective service users to visit and spend time with us in order to get a feel of life at Silver Springs. Our assessment period is individualised and informal. The information we obtain during this process forms the basis of the personalised support plan we can offer. We believe that it is vital that you are given the opportunity to make an informed decision on whether you would like to receive our services. Feedback and Complaints
We welcome all feedback, comments and suggestions, regardless of how small they may appear and we will aim to deal with them quickly and effectively. We recognise that although we will always try our best, there may be occasions where people are not happy with our service.
Our aim is to provide a transparent, effective and responsive service and we are constantly looking to improve wherever possible. In order to achieve this we have ensured that our Complaints Procedure is simple and accessible, fair and effective. Where an issue is identified, we will be open and accountable and not only put things right but learn for the future.

The Care Act 2014 1defines safeguarding as protecting an adult’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. Our team work closely with Hertfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) and we have clear reporting procedures in place to ensure we safeguard and protect our service users from potential abuse or neglect.
